Pina Colada Porridge

It’s finally time for the summer break and many of you may be off to tropical destinations. Make this pina colada porridge to get you into the summer vibe. This Pina Colada Porridge is protein packed and cooked with coconut which is a healthy fat and has anti-inflammatory effects. It’s topped with fresh pineapple, fresh coconut meat and cherries all high in antioxidants which all help to strengthen your immune system. This porridge is packed with superfoods that are fantastic for your treat days over the summer break!!! 

Pina Colada Porridge

INGREDIENTS * 1/2 cup rolled oats * 1/2 cup fat free milk * 1 tbsp unsweetened desiccated coconut * 1 tbsp of Vanilla ISO Whey Protein * 1/4 cup pineapple * 1/4 cup cherries * 1/4 cup fresh coconut METHOD 1. Cook the rolled oats in water. Add milk and 1 tbsp desiccated coconut and stir in a pan for about 4 minutes or until it reaches your desired consistency. 2. Switch the heat off and stir in 1 tbsp of ISO Vanilla Whey Powder. 3. Transfer to a bowl and top with pineapple, coconut and cherries.
